Some bassets are so special that they deserve a special place. They are TSBHR's hounds with special needs, seniors, hospice or those with extensive medical conditions that often prevent them from being adopted.

But have no fears as they are our "forever fosters" and TSBHR is committed to keeping each of them happy and loved for the rest of their lives regardless of the monetary and time cost.

Please read through their stories below and consider sponsoring one of our special bassets. You can sign up for a one-time or a monthly tax-exempt donation. All donations go directly to the cost of care for our very special bassets and will make them feel even more loved than they already are!
