Wantagh Park is in Wantagh, Long Island, at the intersection of Woodland Ave and Merrick Rd. The entrance is on the South side, next to Wantagh Parkway and a little hidden. The picnic is at the Pavilion.

From the west: Take the Southern State or Northern State to Meadowbrook Parkway South.
Follow Meadowbrook Parkway South to Exit M9 (Merrick Road).
Go East (left) on Merrick Road to Woodland Ave. (just before the Wantagh Parkway)
Make a right onto Woodland, where you will see an immediate left-fork into the entrance to Wantagh Park.

From the east: Take the Southern State Parkway to Seaford/Oyster Bay Parkway South.
Exit onto Merrick Road west.
Pass through the overpass for Wantagh Parkway to the intersection of Merrick and Woodland (there is a traffic light).
Make a left onto Woodland, where you will see an immediate left-fork into the entrance to Wantagh Park.
