Day One - Four Weeks Eleven Weeks Today
Today, eight months later, Sunny and her pups have become poster children for basset rescue. Each of them has been adopted by a loving family. Some of the puppies were featured in Hush Puppies Spring campaign, and are shown in huge billboards in Macy's New York and Times Square.
Two of the puppies, Blue and Bella, were present at the NYSE Closing Bell on February 8, 2008, when Hush Puppies celebrated its 50th year in the news.
On April 25-26, 2008, Thelma Lu will be crowned Grand Marshall of the 10th Annual BoardWaddle in Ocean City, NJ and will lead nearly 600 hounds in a parade to raise money for basset rescue.
All of the puppies are doing extremely well.
