Axelrod the Flying A Hound

Back in the 1960’s, Tidewater Petroleum advertised its Flying A Gasoline using a Basset Hound named Axelrod.

This very vintage plastic Axelrod features the highly collectible Flying A logo on his collar.

Made to be weighted and filled with sand. He shows some wear, but is still adorable. (No stopper on the bottom.)

15” long by 8 ½” tall.
