Grand Marshall Melvin

Melvin is just the most lovable guy you want to meet and the happiest boy, nothing fazes him!! He is a BIG boy at 74 lbs of muscle, 12" ears and 5" across the top paws! He's got the classic hush puppy look with all the droopy skin and has the most dopiest expressions you ever want to see. Hence why he was dubbed into DaMoose's Dopey Club. However, don't let him fool you, he really is a very smart dog! He also loves his hats and looks quite good in them!

Melvin does the cutest little dance when he wants his cookies. He walks backwards doing a gig, tosses his head and grunts at you. It is the funniest thing you ever want to see. Nobody can ever be in a bad mood for long with Melvin around, just one look at him and his Pink (yes, PINK) nose and you just have to laugh. He loves to play catch and is absolutely fabulous with the kids. Stairs however are a different story. Melvin does not do stairs very well! Not sure if he was ever taught how to , or if he is just too big to get his body up them all the way.

Melvin is my velcro dog and my big ol' mush! Even though he drink sand drinks and drinks and gets nothing in his mouth because its all on my lap or floor, you can't help but love the big guy! He is definitely a mommy's boy and wins the hearts of everyone he meets! We love you!

Food Slave to Melvin

Melvin was an owner surrender and Bob and Sandy from Tristate asked me to just go and "look" at him and see if Mandy would like him. They knew all too well that one look and he was going to be coming home with me!!! I think that was their game plan all along! :) LOL!! Once we got to where he was living, it didn't take more than a mere second for me to decide he was coming home with us. You could tell that he was technically well cared for, but didn't get any attention or much love The owner couldn't wait for him to leave and to be quite honest, my Melvin never looked back!
