Available Basset Hounds
Because we adopt out so many Bassets (150-200 a year) many of them are matched with approved adopters long before we can get them listed. For this reason, we urge you to complete the Adoption Application and go through the approval stages before you pick a dog on the website. Often, by the time your application is received and approved, the dog that attracted you may be adopted. At any given time, we may have 30 to 60 dogs available, some of which are not listed here, so please don't be disappointed if a dog you see here is no longer available.

Momma Momma is an 8 year old beautiful Basset Hound. She was given all the love in the world, but because of an unfortunate situation is in need of a new home. Cuddling, napping, Basset kisses and little walks are just a few of her favorite pass times. Momma is a dominant female who does suffer from separation anxiety. Therefore, a Basset savvy home where someone is home much of the time would be preferred. She is also a little escape artist, so a securely fenced in yard is a must. Cornelia Cornelia is an adorable, fun basset mix who is just a sweetheart at a little over a year old. She just wants to be loved! Cornelia is good with kids, but does not like cats. She loves to play with other young active dogs her size or larger, but is a bit of a bully with older or timid dogs. Do you have room in your heart for this playful lovebug? |
